Draft day for Bolden

-

JONAH Bolden has been dubbed the potential “sleeper” of the NBA Draft while Australia’s other great hope, 19year-old giant Isaac Humphries, has also received an eleventh hour boost.

Sudanese-born, Melbourne-raised big man Mangok Mathiang is also hoping to fulfill a dream of making the NBA after five years at college basketball powerhouse, the University of Louisville.

Today’s draft will be held at Brooklyn’s Barclay Center with 60 players selected.

Bolden, the 21-year-old Melbourne-born son of NBL great Bruce Bolden, is expected to be picked in the late first or early second round with draft analysts intrigued by the power forward’s athleticism and 208cm-tall frame.
