Depp ‘fully aware’ of dog smuggle

-

JOHNNY Depp could face further legal action over his dogs Pistol and Boo amid allegations he was “fully aware” he was illegally bringing the animals into Australia in 2015.

However, legal experts and government spokespeople say it is unlikely to eventuate.

It has been two years since Depp, his ex-wife Amber Heard and Agriculture Minister Barnaby Joyce were locked in a quarantine circus when the Hollywood couple smuggled their teacup Yorkshire terriers to the Gold Coast.

The actor’s former business managers have disputed Depp’s claims the incident was a mistake in new evidence that could lead to legal action by the Australian Government.

They say Depp was “fully aware he was illegally bringing (in) his dogs” in 2015 during filming of the fifth Pirates of the Caribbean.
