JULIE LAPS IT UP AS A VOLUNTEER

LOVE the spirit of Julie McDonald OAM. One of our great swimmers fronted up this week to be interviewed for a role as a volunteer at next year’s Commonwealth Games. When Julie was asked why she wanted to be a volunteer she replied that as she had been a competitor at two Commonwealth Games she wanted to experience the Games from the other side. You won’t be surprised to hear that she is being earmarked for a special role next year.
