Absolutely yes. Mandatory sentencing if you attack emergency services. There should be zero tolerance. They deserve the full backing of our courts!

strange things sent into newspapers by the public but to read that some people refer to a left lane of a highway as the inside lane beats all. How did these people get a license? This needs to be looked at – all us truckies call the left lane the outside lane. Bewildered truckie.

Our country in is massive debt and yet these politicians give themselves another pay rise. Hey Don, if NZ is 3rd highestranked economy in the world and prosperous then why did you abandon your country? I know elderly Kiwis who are getting an Aussie aged pension and bludging off our taxpayers.
We have the Games coming next year and Surfers Paradise is almost empty. So many closed shops. Walking around it feels like a slum. Needs some tlc badly. Lee
Devastated I did not receive tickets to the basketball at Comm Games. How is it fair some people received 3/4 tickets to different events and some people couldn’t get one ticket. I have just played at the world masters in NZ for basketball and won gold but not able to go to a game in my own country. There has to be a fairer way to get tickets. TP
