Minjee sixth as Ryu fires

AUSTRALIAN Minjee Lee finished in a tie for sixth at the NW Arkansas Championship won by South Korea’s So Yeon Ryu who became the LPGA Tour’s first dual winner this season.

Five strokes ahead after three rounds following a course-record 10under 61, the third-ranked South Korean Ryu closed with a 69 for a twoshot victory over fellow South Korean Amy Yang and Thailand’s Moriya Jutanugarn.

The 26-year-old Ryu finished with a tournament-record 18-under 195.
