RUNAWAY BAY LIONS:

Cool nights will be made more bearable for our city’s most vulnerable residents thanks to the generosity of Runaway Bay Centre shoppers who donated hundreds of blankets and warm clothes. Paul Turnell, of Runaway Bay Lions, handed over the goods to Richard and Sandy from Rosies — Friends on the Streets (left). The warm items are already being handed out to the homeless by Rosies and Uniting Church Southport.
