OFF THE RECORD

AFTER the children left the family nest the parents decided to do what others have done and downsized from their mansion to a comfortable ground-floor luxury unit. The clincher for the move was that their new digs allowed small dogs. What could go wrong? Well for a start the pampered pooch decided that anyone who walked anywhere near the building was a dastardly intruder and yapped a warning. Bad dog! Now they are trying to teach the mutt that he is not necessarily master of all he surveys.
