HOLIDAY SEVEN HEAVEN

- LEA EMERY lea.emery@news.com.au

A FOCUS on fun and outstanding customer service has secured all seven Gold Coast tourist parks the coveted Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor.

It is the first time the parks have won the travel website’s award in the same year.

The certificate is based on user ratings over a year and given to those with a score of four out of five.

Donna Harrison, who manages the city’s tourism parks at Tallebudgera, Main Beach, Broadwater and Miami, said customer service won guests over.

“We do have a high rate of return guests,” she said.

“This is the really big one, this is the jackpot for the Gold Coast.”

A majority of the parks are currently at capacity thanks to the combination of mid-year school holidays and the Gold Coast Airport Marathon this weekend.
