Police target school zones

ROBINA Police are working with schools to address issues compromising the safety of children at drop-off and pick-up times. Police are seeking help from the wider Varsity Lakes community to help make it safer for all children at school zones. Parents and caregivers are reminded to observe time limits, obey ‘No Standing’ and ‘No Stopping’ areas, observe yellow ‘No Stopping’ lines, avoid double parking, follow the direction of crossing controllers and do not stop on pedestrian crossings.
