Peter, the Westpac Lifesaver Rescue deputy chief pilot is hanging up his headset and helmet before a relocation to Melbourne to enjoy his retirement.

To celebrate his 19 years of life-saving work a special surprise lunch was held at Mano’s in Main Beach to honour the man who has done so much for so many over the years.
