De Belin eyes debut

-

ST George Illawarra’s Jack De Belin is in line to make his NSW debut and replace Tyson Frizell, who is fighting to be fit for the Origin decider.

NSW coach Laurie Daley yesterday named an unchanged side for tomorrow week’s decider at Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium, where the Blues will be looking to win the series on enemy soil.

But Frizell is in doubt as he struggles to overcome rib, back and ankle injuries. The Blues enforcer will be given up to 48 hours to prove his fitness.

If Frizell is forced out, Manly’s in-form back-rower Jake Trbojevic is likely to come into the starting line-up with Dragons teammate De Belin to come onto the Blues’ bench.

Frizell travelled with the Blues to their camp in Kingscliff on the NSW far north coast yesterday afternoon.

Captain Boyd Cordner (calf), James Tedesco (ankle), centre Josh Dugan (knee) and 18th man de Belin (calf) are also being troubled by injury.
