Brothers facing trial

TWO brothers who allegedly shot a Pimpama man in the face on Boxing Day last year have been committed to stand trial in the district court.

Giuseppe Surace, 39, and Francesco Surace, 41, both face a string of charges for the incident which is likely to permanentl­y blind Isaac Wensley.

They also allegedly shot Isaac’s

Wensley.

Francesco faces the more serious charges, including attempt to murder and unlawful possession of a weapon. Giuseppe has been charged with intent to maim and disfigure.

The matter will be heard in the district court at the next available date. father, Raymond
