PAIGE HAS BALL ON WORLD STAGE

LOVE it when young Gold Coasters do well. In 2010, Paige Cooper, representing North Burleigh SLSC, was crowned Jupiters Miss Summer Surf Girl.

Her aim was to work in sports media and after time with Fox Sports she went overseas.

“I’m the head producer of World Rugby TV based in London, a show which airs in more than 180 countries, filming and editing feature stories from all over the world,” she says. “I’m heading to Paris this weekend for a quick shoot then hopefully Africa.

“It’s full on but I love a challenge. Prior to this I was a producer with global sports media group IMG covering mainly EuroLeague Basketball.”
