Shock discovery for owner of torched car
The owner of a car torched at Varsity Lakes on Wednesday had no idea the vehicle had been stolen until told by police. Firefighters worked for about 10 minutes to extinguish the blaze after reports of the fire at Frascott Park at about 4am yesterday. Local councillor Hermann Vorster said the arson was caught on CCTV vision, which had now been handed to police.
