DRACULA’S CAST ROCK BYTE MARK

- SUZANNE SIMONOT

NEW blood and old souls combine for Terrorbyte, the latest vamp-themed romp to storm the stage at Dracula’s Gold Coast Theatre and Restaurant, in Broadbeach.

Never ones to rest on their laurels, the iconic entertainment venue’s owners, showbiz royals the Newman family, launch a brand new production every year to keep new and returning audiences on the edge of their seats.

Dracula’s creative director Marc Newman said Terrorbyte was designed to reveal itself in layers from the minute guests’ settled into their seats to sink their teeth into a three-course meal and show.

Set to a cranking soundtrack brought to life by live singers and musicians, the show includes a tribute to late greats David Bowie, Prince and George Michael.

Mr Newman said Terrorbyte also showcased the venue’s new infra-red 3D video tracking technology, which animates the fantasy being created on stage.

“Our technology is the connective tissue that enables Terrorbyte to take the show experience to the next level,” he said.
