Players pushing for Loz

-

BLUES players have made a pact to convince coach Laurie Daley not to quit, confident he can lead for NSW years yet.

In an impassioned plea, the entire NSW playing group have declared an intent to beat Queensland in the decider at Suncorp Stadium for one man – Daley, who they believe is the only man to remain in charge of the state side.

With six wins and seven losses from 13 Origin matches, Daley is yet to commit his future to the Blues beyond next Wednesday night.

But if the current playing group get their way, a 2017 series victory against the Maroons will prove Daley, 47, must remain in charge.

“I’d love him to stick around, he’s a great coach and we know the importance of this game for him,’’ Dugan said.
