Two males die on road

TWO men – a middle-aged cyclist and a teenage driver – died in separate traffic incidents on Queensland roads early yesterday.

The cyclist in his 40s was killed in a crash with a vehicle on Mt Nebo, northwest of Brisbane, around 7.30am.

And an 18-year-old driver was found dead at the scene of a single-vehicle crash at Pittsworth, west of Toowoomba on the Darling Downs around 9am.

The police forensic crash unit is investigating both incidents.
