Suns still no brighter

WATCHING Gold Coast’s fledgling AFL side struggle in their early seasons was as frustrating as it was understandable.

Seven years in you’d be excused for no longer giving any sympathy to the playing group who can no longer employ the ‘we’re still learning the ropes’ card. Another promising start, another doomed effort against the Swans on Saturday revealed why the Suns won’t play finals anytime soon – unless they find some consistency.

The players are well aware of what the issue is. Consistency is not just a problem in between weeks but during games.

Fans would love to see a finals surge but the search for consistency frustratingly goes on.
