Aussie four claim gold

AUSTRALIA has finished second at the World Cup after winning three medals on the final day of the meet in Lucerne, Switzerland.

The women’s four of Molly Goodman, Sarah Hawe, Katrina Werry and Lucy Stephan claimed their second gold medal of the season yesterday in a confidence boost ahead of September’s world championships.

New Zealand won the meet with six gold medals, while Australia, Italy and Poland were equal second after claiming two.
