NRL offers more tickets

THE NRL yesterday released extra tickets in nearly every category that had been returned and are rushing to sell out the 52,500-seat Suncorp Stadium for Origin III.

Game One of the series did not sell out with a crowd of 50,390 watching Queensland suffer their biggest ever loss in Brisbane.

Exorbitant prices – the top tickets cost $292 – are believed to be the main reason behind slow sales but the NRL is confident a capacity crowd will be in the stands.
