State after more weed
THE US state of Nevada is running out of weed. And its governor is so concerned he has just endorsed a state of emergency.
Fox News reports the Nevada Tax Commission is concerned many stores legally selling recreational marijuana are running critically low on it.
Nevada voted to legalise recreational marijuana in November last year. Sales began on July 1 – immediately hitting a $US3 million high.
Little more than a week later, the dope’s dried up. The tax office is considering emergency regulations to provide a streamlined flow of the drug.
