Teen wins $860,000

A CALIFORNIAN teen has walked away with $860,000 after hitting the scratchie jackpot twice in one week.

Rosa Dominguez was on a road trip in the Paso Robles region of California last month when she bought a $US5 scratchie and won $US555,555 ($730,000).

The 19-year-old waited a week before she decided to lash out with her new-found wealth and buy another scratchie.

This time around the ecstatic Ms Dominguez walked out with another $US100,000 ($130,000).
