No move for chief

-

ARISTOCRAT Leisure’s chief financial officer is stepping down after deciding not to move with the company to Las Vegas.

The poker machine maker yesterday said it had begun searching for a replacement for Toni Korsanos, who has chosen not to move alongside chief executive Trevor Croker for family reasons.

Mr Croker will move from Sydney, where Aristocrat has been based, to Las Vegas later this year and said he would work closely with Mrs Korsanos to prepare for the transition.

“I deeply regret but fully respect Toni’s decision not to relocate, and to instead embrace new challenges,” Mr Croker said in a statement to the Australian Securities Exchange.

Aristocrat’s shares closed down 1.7 per cent yesterday at $21.39 after Ms Korsanos’ departure was announced.
