Essendon gun re-signs

-

ESSENDON have secured young gun Darcy Parish for two more years.

The former No.5 draft pick has played 32 games in two years and is now locked away until 2019.

Parish said he saw a bright future at the Bombers.

“I’m really excited about our future and proud to sign on for two more years,” Parish told the club website.

“We’ve got a great group of players and while we know we have a lot of hard work ahead of us, I really feel like we’re heading in the right direction.”

Bombers coach John Worsfold said he was delighted the midfielder had recommitted.

“He’s part of an exciting young group of players who are not only fully invested but really driving our culture,” Worsfold said.
