Pair held after raid

TWO people arrested at a Gold Coast home were allegedly supplying drugs across the city’s northern suburbs.

Following a tip-off, police searched house on Lancelot Crescent in Ormeau on Wednesday and allegedly found 1kg of cannabis, three grams of ice and drug paraphernalia.

A man and a woman, both 47, and who are believed to be a couple, were charged with drug offences and will appear in Southport Magistrates Court on August 2.

Police will also allege they uncovered “evidence of drug supplies to the northern end of the Gold Coast”.
