There was no shortage of berets and all other things Gallic when Bastille Day was celebrated in chic style on the Coast. Vive la France!

BASTILLE DAY CELEBRATIONS Gold Coast German Club, Merrimac

A BIT of cross-cultural support when the Bonjour French Festival staged their annual Bastille Day celebrations in the warm embrace of the Gold Coast German Club at Merrimac. This had everything you would expect from a French celebration. Musketeers, dancers, opera singers and, of course, the usual array of incredible French food and desserts. Add berets, tricolours and lashings of French wines and Champagne served with “ze tres cute axzent” and you have a very good time had by all.
