Title:
Diary of a Minecraft Zombie: Zombie Swap
Author: “Zack Zombie’’
Publisher: Scholastic ★★★★
THIS is the fourth in the Diary of a Minecraft Zombie series.
This book is about a 12year-old zombie and a human boy swapping bodies.
Zack has a funny and friendly personality but he struggles to fit in.
Steve, in contrast, is one of the cool kids.
Alex is often giving Zack advice on how to be a normal human and he also checks how Steve is with being a zombie. I think Alex is a real example of great friend.
I really enjoyed this book, although it’s not the type of story I would normally read.
I learnt you should consider trying a book that you usually wouldn’t choose.
I think Zombie Swap has a few messages but it depends on how you comprehend it.
The main message I thought was you should try to put yourself in someone else’s shoes and understand what they might be going through. This story took that idea quite literally.
This book had a lot of humour and a good use of descriptive words that gave you more information.
I notice it had its fair share of exclamation marks which really helped to show how the characters were feeling.
I would recommend Zombie Swap to readers aged eight and above because of some of its challenging words.
