TODAY’S GOOD DEED

I work for Australia Post where I see all sorts of behaviour, good and bad. Something happened recently that restored my faith. A young lady came to my counter, paid a bill and received $35 in change. The elderly customer at the next counter was struggling to pay a $35.40 bill. This lovely girl passed her $35 back to me and whispered to me to give this to the elderly lady but not until she had left the shop. It gave me great pleasure to tell this sweet elderly lady that her parcel was to cost her 40 cents because of the kindness of a stranger. – Nannie Lisa Mudgeeraba
