WATCH FOR THE CLAWS
O’Reilly’s enjoys international recognition as one of the premier birdwatching locations in Australia. Ornithologists can happily spend all day in one spot with nothing more than a pair of binoculars. More than 160 species of subtropical birds and other native wildlife make their home in the rainforest of Lamington National Park, so keep your eyes — and your ears — open. While it’s rare, there have even been sightings of dingoes on the tracks. Extra points if you spot a spottedtailed quoll or Lamington Spiny Crayfish.
