- RYAN KEEN ryan.keen@news.com.au

A fully-leased business hub anchored by headquarters for app-based transport service Uber is for sale after 15 years in the same hands.

Southport site 49-51 Johnston Street also counts Thrifty Link Hardware, Surf Lifesaving Queensland, Zinc Cafe, a model agency and CSF Shopfitting as tenants.

Colliers International team Steve Clark and Daniel Coburn are marketing the property, with Mr Clark saying it consistently delivered a stable, multi-stream income base.

The 4848 sq m site with 2560 sq m of lettable area brings in $312,374 of net income annually.

Mr Clark said the trio of coowners who had held the property for 15 years were selling due to dissolving their business partnership: “It’s all very amicable. They are simplifying things as they get a bit older.

“This property has been meticulously maintained by its current owners.”

“It’s got to be one of the best locations for growth.

“The best part of this asset is the rental rates being achieved are very sustainable.

The auction is 11am, August 23, at Colliers International’s Surfers Paradise Office.
