Fox regroups for 11th gold

JUST one day after a penalty deprived her of gold, Olympic paddler Jessica Fox has bounced back to claim her 11th world title in junior and under-23 competition.

Fox claimed gold in the K1 event at the world under-23 championships in Bratislava, Slovakia, yesterday to turn her campaign around after a 50-second penalty had deprived her of gold in the C1 event on Saturday.

Fox finished her junior and under-23 career with 11 gold medals from 14 world title appearances.
