Tradie wins $340k lotto

-

A RUNAWAY Bay tradie says he won’t be working overtime or on weekends after a $340,000 lotto haul.

He was one of 13 division one winners in Saturday’s Gold Lotto draw 3757, bagging $329,266.60.

The man’s System 8 marked entry also saw him win other divisional prizes, taking his total windfall to $340,784.65.

It was the 15th division one win for the Gold Coast so far this year.

“It’s unbelievable! Friggin’ unreal!” the tradie said.

“I know it’s real but I just don’t know what to think! I work pretty hard so it’s very welcomed. I won’t be working weekends any more — I know that. I won’t be working any overtime at all ever again. I’ve been working Saturdays and Sundays if I can get it.”

The tradie said he didn’t use special numbers and was “just winging it” when filling out the form.

The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, bought the ticket at Broadbeach Oasis News in the Oasis shopping centre.
