Beaten man roadside

POLICE are trying to identify a man found beaten almost to death and left on the side of the road in northern NSW.

The man was found on Kyogle Road, Kunghur (near Uki), about 7.30pm Sunday.

Police say a driver noticed a “spot fire” and the injured man.
