MEN’S SHED:

The proposed Ashmore Men’s Shed is a step closer to existence with a site identified for meetings. Cr Dawn Critchlow suggested the old Bocce Club and at a public meeting held this month 75 men turned up to support the venture. Len Thomson, secretary of the Labrador Men’s Shed and Queensland Men’s Shed Association, delivered a presentation and an interim committee has been formed.
