Re: letters in recent days criticising road side memorials following a Tallai resident’s complaints. When my young son and a friend died, due to a young inexperienced driver, the first people to lay flowers at the sight were the emergency service workers who attended the accident. Then for the next few months several nearby neighbours actually helped to look after the memorial. That’s true kindness that we will never forget. We will be forever grateful to those amazing caring people.
