Lynn’s op will reduce Heat

CHRIS Lynn’s Big Bash League campaign has gone up in smoke with the Brisbane Heat’s main drawcard facing up to seven months out of action.

Lynn, 27, will miss the start of the 2017-18 BBL and is only a slim chance of playing for the Heat this summer after having shoulder surgery.

The big-hitting Queenslander was last summer’s player of the tournament for the second straight year, whacking 26 sixes in five matches.

Lynn was operated on by surgeon Greg Hoy in Melbourne on Monday.
