Flanagan: Gallen greatest Shark

COACH Shane Flanagan has boldly anointed Paul Gallen as the greatest player in Cronulla’s 50-year history.

Flanagan said Gallen’s march towards an 18th NRL season for the club while playing most of his career in the forwards was unrivalled.

Internationals Andrew Ettingshausen, Greg Pierce, Steve Rogers and Gavin Miller were great but Flanagan said Gallen topped the list.
