Nurse on call for Coomera

-

A NURSE has been named at the Labor candidate to take on incumbent Michael Crandon for the seat of Coomera in the upcoming state election.

Christopher Johnson, 55, was yesterday announced as the Labor candidate for the seat, which Mr Crandon won with 58 per cent of the two party preferred vote in 2015.

Mr Johnson, who has lived in Upper Coomera for more than a decade, said he wanted to ensure northern Gold Coast residents had access to the best healthcare possible.

“Years of working in community mental health has given me a direct understanding of just how important a top quality, well-funded public health system is,” he said.
