Postal site delivers very tidy profit

A LARGE Yatala site on which Australian Postal Corporation had planned to build a distribution centre has sold for $13.4 million.

The property, at 38 Pearson Rd, has been bought by NSWbased Landcross Projects Qld, whose sole director is Xin Ping Liu.

The 15.84ha holding, onetime home to a plant nursery, was bought by Australian Postal in 2007 for $8.91 million.

It mooted building a parcel delivery centre on the site but later dropped the idea.

The land, on which site works had been undertaken, was put on the market last year.
