Gallagher’s ciggie Oasis
ONE of the world’s most notorious boozy, drug-taking rockers has questioned if the “world has gone mad” after he was asked to show ID to buy a pack of cigarettes.
Liam Gallagher, the former lead singer of Oasis, was vetted when he went to buy smokes at a New York City convenience store. “I’ve just been told I can’t buy cigs unless I got ID,” the fiery 44-year-old wrote. “Has the world gone mad.”
Gallagher and his brother Noel were infamous for their hard drinking and drug-taking in the 1990s on the back of hits such as Cigarettes & Alcohol and Wonderwall.
