TODAY’S GOOD DEED

I fell backwards while using my walking stick outside the Chirn Park newsagency last Thursday, striking my head quite heavily. The number of people who came to my aid was incredible. I want to thank you all. Special thanks to the young lady who works in the agency who rang next day to see how I was. Also thanks to the young man, Michael, who had been driving past. He asked me the usual questions – “what day of the week was it and where was I”, to make sure I was mentally OK. Thank you all once again from an old Kiwi veteran. – James P. McGuire
