Police Snap to it for person alerts
POLICE are using Snapchat to help find missing persons.
They launched the Disappearing Person Alerts as an extension of Facebook and Twitter to update the public.
The move will help police tap into the 18 to 25-year-old demographic, the prime Snapchat audience. About 100 people are reported missing every week in Queensland, police said.
