Candyman wins costs
TOBACCO king Travers Beynon has won a minor skirmish in his $200,000 defamation lawsuit against his former sales manager in the District Court.
Beynon was in court on Wednesday, accompanied by three women, where he was successful in his bid to force the former sales and franchise manager of his company, Cigarette and Gift Warehouse Franchising, Philip Bradley to pay $9000 of his legal costs.
Mr Bradley, from Arundel, has been given time to refile.
