SKY’S THE LIMIT FOR GOLD COAST IN NEW STUDIO

-

PAUL Murray isn’t known for holding back and he’s not afraid to say it, he loves the Gold Coast.

The Sky News host has spent the week broadcasting his high-rating series Paul Murray Live from the Foxtel channel’s new studio inside the Gold Coast Bulletin’s Seabank building headquarters.

Mr Murray’s week on the Coast has coincided with the State Government canning the $3 billion ASF Consortium development on The Spit, something the host says he agrees with.

“(Annastacia Palaszczuk) did make a pretty good decision – I think saving the Spit is important though I am not entirely closed to the idea of a cruise ship terminal.

“However the bulk of that area must remain what it is.”

Gold Coast Publications general manager Clare Starling said the cross-media partnership allowed for a “unified media company”.

“The Gold Coast market deserves innovation, it deserves its media organisations to constantly improve,” she said.

“The Bulletin, website and our community newspapers are doing just that in consistent audience growth.”
