Mother’s chilling trip

A TASMANIAN mother driving with her two kids has been busted speeding at 123km/h on an icy highway. Police in the state’s northwest nabbed the woman early on Wednesday morning. “The apparent lack of driver consideration of all the factors in this incident including weather and road conditions, speed and precious cargo in the vehicle is very concerning,” Inspector Adrian Shadbolt said, adding there were weather alerts for black ice in the area at the time.
