Flannery adds to site

BRIAN Flannery, who’s become a major property investor on the back of making a coal fortune, quietly has added to his Kirra Beach Hotel site holdings – in style.

He’s bought a three-level home with ocean views that abuts his already enlarged pub site, on which a new hotel and apartments are planned. The $2.85 million buy has been kept under wraps by the agent who handled it, Ray White Mermaid’s Troy Dowker.
