US already feeling heat
A FEDERAL climate report says the US is already feeling the effects of climate change, with temperatures rising dramatically over the past four decades.
That is according to The New York Times, which acquired a draft copy of the report by scientists from 13 federal agencies.
The report says extreme heatwaves have become more common and extreme cold snaps less common in the US since the 1980s.
One scientist cited anonymously by the Times says he and others are worried the Trump administration will suppress the report.
