-

EMERGENCY services were called to rescue a man from Mt Warning after he fell ill.

Just before 6am yesterday emergency services were called by a man and his group of three friends who reported he “felt sick” as he climbed to the summit of the mountain.

It is believed the 24-yearold man suffered from a medical condition and was vomiting, had shortness of breath and was “feeling faint.”

Paramedics found the man and walked him down the mountain just before 9am before transporting him to Murwillumbah District Hospital in a stable condition.
