STEALING

POLICE want to talk to a man they believe stole items from a Mudgeeraba department store five days apart. A man is alleged to have stolen a black jacket from the store on July 25. He returned to the shop on July 30 wearing the stolen jacket. On both occasions he was seen to leaving riding a newer model black or dark-coloured racing-style bicycle. The man is described being in his late 20s or early 30s, caucasian, 160-170cm tall, average build, black hair, facial stubble with tattoos on both calves and left forearm.

THIS man is wanted for questionin­g about the break-in of a storage room. The person was dressed in black with a bandana around his mouth. He is accused of forcing entry through a gate at the Burleigh apartment building on The Esplanade and entering the undergroun­d carpark. He then allegedly walked into the storage room where he stole a long board Speed Demon skateboard and a Hawk collectors skateboard deck. The man is described as aged in his late 20s, caucasian, large build and wearing a bandana around his mouth, black long-sleeve jumper, black pants, dark-coloured shoes, black cap with triangle motive with writing on it. He was riding a mountain bike and carrying a dark-coloured backpack branded “TechEd”.

POLICE are looking to identify two men in relation to the theft of a car from an apartment at Surfers Paradise. Around 3am on May 28, an orange Subaru XV bearing NSW rego DCM20Q was stolen from the undergroun­d carpark of the Hamilton Avenue complex. Both men entered the garage before driving the car out shortly afterwards. The men appear to be caucasian in appearance with slim builds. One of the men has a bald head while the other has short hair and is wearing glasses.
