GOLD COAST MULTICULTURAL FESTIVAL Broadwater Parklands, Southport

IF THERE is a city in Australia that can truly be classified as multicultural then it is ours. About 30 per cent of all Gold Coasters were born overseas and on Sunday that diversity was celebrated at the Gold Coast Multicultural Festival family fun day. Held at the Broadwater Parklands the day featured an astonishing array of music, food, and dance as the different ethnic groups showcased aspects of their differing cultures under a warm Australian sun.
